My Life in a Nutshell

Here is my life in a nutshell:

God is amazing; he actually wants my heart.

“God, I know you are good. If you never give me this it’s ok, but I’m praying for it.”

“God, how long do I have to wait? I’m trying to trust you.”

“God, it is so hard to give this up to you. Why do you want to take everything from me?”

“God, where are you? What do you want from me?”

“God, I’m not even worth your time. Did you really die for me? I do nothing but rebel against you and walk away from you for pathetic things of this world. Whatever you want from me, it’s yours.”

God is amazing! All he wants is my heart!

We are sons and daughters of the living God. Pray that he would bring you to a place where you see how good and loving Jesus Christ is—so that you willingly burn down all shrines in your heart which hold the things of this world in them—for the sake of the Son who has died to adopt us as sons and daughters.

Galatians 4:3-5
In the same way we also, when we were children, were enslaved to the elementary principles of the world. But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.
